Mental Health £3.2m Initiative

A £3.2m initiative designed to tackle mental health problems in young people is being rolled out across 40 Sheffield schools, with the city among 22 pilot areas selected by the Government and the NHS. Steven Rippin, the assistant headteacher at Tapton School, said measures trialled at the school are designed to ease exam pressures, “help students recognise the signs of stress, create good habits to create healthy minds and manage their stress.”
