On International Women’s Day we sit down with just some of the leading women who keep Prospero’s wheels turning smoothly!

Joanna Spencer – Senior Operations Manager Nursing

Can you tell us about a role model who has inspired you over your career?

I took inspiration from my first Recruitment Director. She had the career and position that I wanted and I decided there and then to commit to my career in recruitment and stop at nothing to achieve my goals!

What advice who you give to a younger version of yourself?

All feedback is positive, embrace it and use it to be the best version of you.

Are women really from Venus?

Ha ha, it’s the men you have to watch for !

Share with us one of your Super-powers?

Be like a duck. On the surface remain calm and focused. Under the waters, paddle as hard as hard as you possibly can

Kirti Bhatt – Team Manager London 

Can you tell us about a role model who has inspired you over your career?

I had a regional manager called Helen Charles who was at the time the only female black regional manager in all of Brook  Street Social Care and I was inspired to work my work up to senior management level to inspire other women and ethnic minorities. She has always told to believe is to achieve

What advice who you give to a younger version of yourself?

Keep positive and never doubt your ability for one second because working hard and striving for the best is achievable

Are Women really from Venus?

LOL I think Women should rule the world! True feminist!

I am always full of energy from the second I wake up to the second I fall asleep! LOL it shocks a lot of people how full speed I am all day I never tire!

Gemma Warren – Associate Director

Can you tell us about a role model who has inspired you over your career?

My mom has been my biggest role model – she taught me about how important strong work ethic and commitment is.

What advice who you give to a younger version of yourself?

Make the right decision for you – don’t worry about the thoughts of others!

Are women really from Venus?

I think women have to be the most grounded to juggle their many roles.  So no, we are definitely from earth – who knows where the men came from haha!!

Payal Jankhariya – Head Of Finance

Can you tell us about a role model who has inspired you over your career?

My role model growing up has been my Father, he is a Chartered Accountant.

What advice would you give to a younger version of yourself?

Not to let other’s opinion matter. You do you.

Are women really from Venus?

No, Men and Women are different but that’s not to say we are from different planets.

Share with us one of your Super-powers?

Don’t believe you have to have super powers but I can say one of my strengths is that I have tendency to put myself in other shoes before saying or re-acting to a situation.
