What does an Outreach Support Worker do?

- Financial Guidance: Provide advice and assistance to individuals on personal budgeting, debt management, and claims for welfare benefits.
- Record Keeping: Recording interventions and sharing important information with your team is crucial to your job.
What our Clients are Looking for:
- Experience and Knowledge: Understanding the impact of rough sleeping, experience in outreach settings, and working with vulnerable clients.
- Qualifications: A good standard of general education (equivalent to 4 x GCSEs).
- Competencies: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
- Personal Qualities: Initiative, resilience, empathy, and a strong commitment to helping others.
- Team Behaviour: Effective communication, teamwork, responsibility, respect, and a people-focused approach.
- Flexibility: Flexibility with working hours and ideally access to your own transport and driving license.
