Responsibilities:
- Assist client with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing
- Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records of medication administration
- Assist client with daily tasks, such as light housekeeping, meal preparation
- Assist the client with appointments, access into the community to promote well-being.
- Complete daily paperwork/log daily reports
- Driving licence would be desirable but not essential (and able to drive service users vehicle)
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a care worker or in a related field
- Must have had experience with epilepsy and administering specific medication to the service user
- Must drive and be happy to drive service users special assistance vehicle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Compassion and commitment to providing high-quality care
