Adult Female Support Worker

Responsibilities:

• Assist client with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing
• Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records of medication administration
• Assist client with daily tasks, such as light housekeeping, meal preparation
• Assist the client with appointments, access into the community to promote well-being.
• Complete daily paperwork/log daily reports
• Driving licence would be desirable but not essential (and able to drive service users vehicle)

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a care worker or in a related field
• Must have had experience with epilepsy and administering specific medication to the service user
• Must drive and be happy to drive service users special assistance vehicle
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Compassion and commitment to providing high-quality care
