Adult Support Worker

Prospero Health and Social Care are supporting a provider of residential care and support for adults and children committed to providing exceptional care and support to adults with mental health conditions, autism, and learning difficulties. The Role:

As an Adult Support Worker, you will be a crucial part of our compassionate team, working in our Supported Living home in Southampton. Our facility is dedicated to supporting young adults and adults with complex needs, mental health disorders, autism, and learning difficulties. You will play a pivotal role in promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with daily living activities.
• Encourage and facilitate social integration and life skills development.
• Foster independence and boost confidence.
• Provide personal care.
• Prepare meals and maintain a clean environment. Manage transportation needs.
• Prepare reports and assist with challenging behaviors.

Requirements:

• At least one year of experience in a care setting.
• Compassionate, enthusiastic, and caring approach.
• Experience in caring for individuals with learning disabilities, complex needs, mental health disorders, or challenging behaviors.
• Kind, hardworking, and empathetic attitude.

Job Type: Full-time with 37.5 hours worked per week according to a rota.

Salary: Starting from £10.45 per hour
