Care Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming) to clients in their homes.

• Assist with mobility and transfers, using appropriate techniques and equipment.

• Support clients with daily activities, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship.

• Assist with medication reminders and ensure proper health and safety protocols are followed.

• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client’s condition.

• Build a positive rapport with clients, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported at all times.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in care or similar role is preferred but not required.

• A genuine passion for helping others and providing high-quality care.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must have a valid UK driver’s license and access to a car (for drivers).

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to handle the physical demands of the role, including lifting and assisting clients with mobility.
