Care Assistant

About the Role

You will be supporting a young woman living independently in her own home with her dog. She uses an electric wheelchair and requires support both at home and in the community to live as independently as possible.

Care Package Structure:

• 2:1 support during the day

• 1 sleep-in overnight

• Established, consistent rota

✨ Key Responsibilities

• Providing personal care (including catheter care)

• Supporting mobility and use of an electric wheelchair

• Assisting with household duties and daily routines

• Supporting appointments and community access

• Driving the service user’s mobility vehicle

⚠️ Essential Requirement:

• You must be a driver with business insurance to drive the service user’s mobility van.

💷 Pay & Benefits

• £16.00 per hour (day shifts)

• £10.00 per hour (sleep-in nights)
