As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in supporting vulnerable adults to live as independently and comfortably as possible while delivering person-centred care.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect, including washing, dressing and toileting.
- Assisting with moving and handling using appropriate equipment and safe techniques.
- Supporting individuals with daily living activities and promoting independence.
- Administering or assisting with medication (where trained and required).
- Supporting individuals with meal preparation, nutrition and hydration.
- Building positive relationships and providing emotional support and companionship.
- Completing accurate daily records and care documentation.
- Following individual care plans and risk assessments.
- Ensuring the safety, wellbeing and safeguarding of the people you support at all times.

What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in Health & Social Care is preferred.
- A caring, compassionate and reliable approach.
- Experience with personal care and manual handling.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Drivers are preferred due to the location of some services; however, this is not essential.
