Care Assistant

As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in supporting vulnerable adults to live as independently and comfortably as possible while delivering person-centred care.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing personal care with dignity and respect, including washing, dressing and toileting.
• Assisting with moving and handling using appropriate equipment and safe techniques.
• Supporting individuals with daily living activities and promoting independence.
• Administering or assisting with medication (where trained and required).
• Supporting individuals with meal preparation, nutrition and hydration.
• Building positive relationships and providing emotional support and companionship.
• Completing accurate daily records and care documentation.
• Following individual care plans and risk assessments.
• Ensuring the safety, wellbeing and safeguarding of the people you support at all times.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in Health & Social Care is preferred.
• A caring, compassionate and reliable approach.
• Experience with personal care and manual handling.
• A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Drivers are preferred due to the location of some services; however, this is not essential.
