Care Assistant

Location: Truro and Surrounding Areas
Salary: £14.50 per hour (Full shift paid) + 25p per mile + Accommodation (if needed)

About the Role:
We are recruiting Home Care Assistants on behalf of a well-established care company based in Truro. Our client is looking for compassionate, reliable, and experienced care assistants to join their team and provide high-quality care to individuals in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care support, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and toileting
• Perform hoisting and manual handling tasks to ensure safe and effective care
• Assist clients with mobility, medication reminders, and daily activities
• Maintain accurate records and report any changes in the client’s condition
• Deliver care in a respectful and professional manner, ensuring the client’s dignity is always maintained

Requirements:

• Previous experience in personal care, hoisting, and manual handling
• Must be a driver with access to a vehicle
• A caring and compassionate nature
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
