Registered Children Home Manager

Location: Daventry, Northampton
Salary: Earning potential of up to £58,000 per annum – £45,639 – £48,032 per annum salary + eligible for a £10,000 bonus.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (flexibility required to suit the needs of the business)

This company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to manage a home that focuses on providing a 28-day emergency placement home to support children and young people who are coming out of crisis situations to feel safe and settled in a short-term placement to enable the local authority to find a suitable long-term placement. This could be returning to the family home, a long-term residential placement, ISAs, or foster care. They can accommodate up to 3 children or young people of any gender. The objective is to provide a safe, stable environment in which the local authority can make reasonable arrangements for a transition period into long-term placements to enable the child or young person’s long-term needs to be met

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the childrens home, ensuring the highest standards of care and safety.
  • Lead and motivate a team of care professionals, providing guidance and support.
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and all relevant legislation.
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to the needs of each child.
  • Maintain effective communication with children, families, and external agencies.
  • Oversee the home’s budget and resources effectively.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working in childrens residential care.
  • In-depth understanding of childrens home regulations.
  • Experience working with Ofsted.
  • Full UK driving license.
