An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Children’s Registered Manager or ambitious Deputy Manager to join a specialist solo EBD home providing 2:1 care support for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
This company is committed to delivering high-quality, therapeutic care within a stable and nurturing environment, ensuring each child receives the tailored support they need to thrive. The home operates with 24/7 staffing and a strong focus on safeguarding, relationship-based care and positive outcomes.
The successful candidate will play a key role in leading the home, developing the staff team and ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations whilst creating a safe and supportive environment for the young person in placement.
The Role
Lead the day-to-day running of a solo EBD children’s home
Ensure high standards of care, safeguarding and compliance are consistently maintained
Support, mentor and develop the staff team
Promote positive outcomes for young people through therapeutic and child-centred care practices
Work closely with external professionals, families and local authorities
Drive continuous improvement and prepare for Ofsted inspections
Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience within children’s residential care
Current Registered Manager or Deputy Manager experience
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding practices
Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification or willingness to work towards it
Passionate about improving outcomes for young people with EBD needs
Full UK driving licence preferred
