Position: Deputy Manager
Location: Warrington
Salary: £12.50 – £13 per hour
This setting provides a safe and nurturing accommodation for children and young people who have suffered adverse life experiences. They provide personalised care that meets needs taking account of the child’s background to help them understand and manage the impact of any experiences such as abuse or neglect. Their aim is to help support each child to develop resilience and skills that prepare the child to return home or to live independently as an adult.
Staff support, encourage and enable growth of self-esteem, confidence and self-worth through positive role modelling, support, guidance and opportunities.
Salary:
£12.50 – £13 per hour
Relevant Experience and Knowledge
- 2 years’ experience in a Residential Children’s home
- Ability to be flexible to ensure rota management
- Hold NVQ or Diploma level 3 in Children and Young people or equivalent
- To undertake on-call duties as per rota if and when required
- Own car and Business insurance, and to use own car if required
- Good leadership skills
- Experience of completing good quality supervisions
- Ability to ensure good quality records are maintained/reports produced, and young person’s files up to date
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the Social Care inspection framework (SCCIF)
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the Quality Standards
- Knowledge of the Children’s Home’s Regulation’s 2015
