Position -Support Worker
Employment type – Permanent
Location – Yatton, Somerset
Hourly rate – £12.83 to £14.58 per hour

Why work here – This is a 3-bed home that supports childrens between the ages of 8 to 18 years with learning disabilities. The home has a homely, caring and supportive feel where the childrens voices are heard. Decisions are made collaboratively to ensure feelings of safety and inclusion.
About the role – Your job will be to work in a team and share in the support duties, such as activities, life in the home and personal care. You will also take the lead on shifts, supporting your colleagues and ensuring high levels of care are upheld, managing risks, rotas and any paperwork required. You will be responsible for safeguarding and take part in appraisals, inductions and staff training.
Qualifications and Experience required -.You require experience of working with the same clients group in a residential setting and be willing to work towards a Level 3 in Residential child care if needed
