As a contact supervisor, you will play a vital role in facilitating supervised visits between children and families. You will ensure the safety and well being of all parties involved while promoting positive interactions and healthy relationships. This position requires strong communication skills, empathy and ability to maintain professionalism in sensitive situations.

Key responsibilities:

. Supervise visits between children and their families in accordance with agency guidelines

. create a safe and welcoming environment for children and families, ensuring adhering to safety and protocols

. monitor interactions between children and their families, intervening when necessary to prevent conflicts

. document observations and incidents accurately and promptly, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

. Communicate effectively with case managers and social worker and other agencies that are involved within the child’s care.

Experience, training, and qualifications:

  • Substantial experience of working and engaging with young people
  • Capable of dealing with challenging behaviour
  • Capable of working well on your own
  • A positive attitude

  • Have an Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willing to process an Enhances DBS through Prospero.
  • Be able to provide 5 years references.
