ABOUT THE CLIENT

Prospero Health and Social Care is looking for Crisis Support Workers to work with vulnerable young people who have been placed in emergency accommodation.

Acting as a work-finding service, we provide cover to a range of Local Authorities and Residential Homes. We are looking for Crisis Support Workers who have strong behaviour management skills and are passionate about providing person centred care.

Prospero Health and Social Care require at least 6 months experience in the health and social care sector. Some contracts may be extended from day-to-day bookings to longer term cover.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location – Various locations across Bristol
  • Position – Crisis Support Worker
  • Type of work – Crisis Support Worker – ad hoc bookings, potential to extend
  • Start date – ASAP
  • Duration / Likely Duration – ad hoc bookings, with the potential for extension depending on the client
  • End date (if applicable) – N/A
  • Contract type – Temporary
  • Full time/part time – Part time and full time depending on client needs
  • Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £11.68 £15 per hour on a PAYE basis
  • Hours – Shift work, 8am – 8pm or 8pm – 8am

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Care certificate
  • Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care; NVQ 3 Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • At least 6 months working in UK Health and Social Care
  • If working in Wales you MUST hold Social Care Wales membership
  • Up to date Care training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child and adults barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional care related references that cover the last three years
