The Role:

As Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include:
✅ Leading, mentoring and supporting a dedicated team of care professionals
✅ Ensuring the home operates in line with CIW regulations and safeguarding guidelines
✅ Supporting the development and well-being of young people, promoting a nurturing and stable environment
✅ Assisting with staff training, supervisions, and development plans
✅ Taking part in on-call duties and overseeing shifts when required

About You:

To be considered for this role, you will need:
✔ Experience working within a children’s residential setting, ideally in a senior or leadership role
✔ A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards
✔ Strong leadership and team management skills
✔ A good understanding of CIW regulations and safeguarding practices
✔ A passion for making a difference in the lives of young people
