Job Title: Children’s Home Deputy Manager

Job Type: Full Time Permanent Role (39 hours)

Earnings: £34,800 – £40,800 per annum

Location: Weymouth, Dorset

Prospero Health and Social Care are supporting a leading residential childcare provider based in the South of England who are looking for a passionate, fun-loving and child-centred Deputy Manager for their 1-bedded home in Weymouth. Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of 8 Residential Support Workers
• Building strong relationships with children based on empathy and trust
• Providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to grow and learn
• Ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and legislative frameworks
• Supporting the professional development of staff members
• Participating in overnight stays (sleep-ins) at the home as needed
• Build on a great reputation in the community

Requirements:

• A minimum of two years of leadership experience in a Children’s Residential Setting
• Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (Level 5 preferred), or the Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce.
• A valid UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
• Experience with Ofsted inspections
