Prospero Teaching are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic English Teacher with QTS to work at a large secondary school near Warrington, the role will start as soon as possible and will be full time until 28th June.

You will be asked to deliver pre planned lessons in an engaging way to classes in years 7 to 11 of varying academic abilities and will need to be able to provide exceptional support to students, demonstrate good behaviour and classroom management. You will be expected to mark the work, update the school system with progress reports and deliver feedback to students.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location – near Warrington

Position – English Teacher

Start date – ASAP

End date – 28th June 2023

Full time

Minimum rate of pay – £145 per day

Hours – 8:30AM – 4:00PM

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent

Previous experience working in a UK school

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided)

Up to date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however training can be provided)

English Teaching experience desired

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to obtain a new one

Provide two professional references
