Family Support Worker

Pay rate:

• £13-£15 per hour
• £50-80 sleep ins

Location:

• Ellesmere Port and across the Northwest

Client type:

• Young people
• Mother and baby supervision

Responsibilities:

• The Family Support Worker will work with members in a range of settings including the member’s home and other community settings.
• You will play a supervisory role in acting as a support for children whilst in the presence of other family members, to ensure safeguarding measures are appropriately met to protect the child from any potential harm.
• The Family Support Worker will be expected to display appropriate sensitivity while working
• Ability and willingness to deal with challenging behaviour

Requirements:

• Child and Adult DBS on the update service (we can assist with an application)
• Willingness to travel, driver preferred
• 6 months of support worker experience (preferably child)
• Experience and ability to deal with challenging behaviour
• Three years of referenceable work/study experience

Contract type:

• Bank/Ongoing

Shift Patterns:

• Long days (12 hours shifts)
• Sleep ins
• Option of 2+ days on if preferred
