Family support worker – ermergency support

Prospero Health & Social Care are recruiting Young Person Support Workers.

About the service:

To provide support for young people within the family home and out in the community when there has been a last minute emergency, this could be things school pickups, helping out with homework, preparing meals, taking the young people out on activities.

Shifts – Adhoc/flexible

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Working with young people within the family home, supporting parents
• Supporting and supervising young people who may present with challenging behaviours
• Light house duties, cooking, cleaning, helping with a bed time routine
• Produce case reports and correspondence.
• Activities

Experience, training, and qualifications:

• Substantial experience of working and engaging with young people
• Capable of dealing with challenging behaviour
• Capable of working well on your own
• A positive attitude

To Apply for the role:

• You will have the right to work in the UK.
• Have an Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willing to process an Enhanced DBS through Prospero.
• Be able to provide 5 years references.
