Female Support Worker – Heysham Intensive Support Service
Location: Heysham
Salary: Up to £24,960 per annum – £12.50 per hour
Contract: Full-time (37.5 – 48 hours per week) or Part-time (minimum 15 hours per week), including flexible working patterns covering weekends and public holidays.

The Role:
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for delivering compassionate care and support to service users, helping them lead fulfilling lives and participate actively in the community. Key responsibilities include:
- Building trusting relationships with service users to promote their emotional health and well-being.
- Supporting service users in developing independence across various aspects of daily life, including personal care, social skills, and managing finances.
- Adhering to behaviour management guidelines and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide consistent, high-quality care.
- Facilitating access to social, leisure, work, and educational opportunities tailored to the interests and aspirations of the service users.

Requirements:
- Experience in supporting people with autism, learning disabilities, or complex needs is desirable.
- NVQ or relevant social care qualification is advantageous.
