About the role – As a Floating Support Worker, you will be essential support for services across Exeter, Dorset, Somerset and Basingstoke that required additional help. The services you’ll attended will specialise in a variety of different things from domestic abuse, refugee support, outreach, criminal justice and supported housing. These services are temporary bolt holes for people in crisis or release from prison and you will help the staff teams deliver their objectives to ensure service users are helped and moved on to more independent living solutions. You will be sign posting, giving help with tenancies, giving therapeutic care, help accessing the community and relevant agency support.
Qualifications and Experience required – We are looking people who are genuinely interested in a variety of social issues with a background in supporting vulnerable people with multiple and complex needs people in a none judge mental and caring manner. You need to be flexible and able to plan and willing to move around where needed. The role requires you to have a UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
