Job Title: Registered Manager – Domiciliary Care Provider
Location: Southampton, Hampshire
Salary: £35,000 – £39,000 DOE
We are supporting a reputable private domiciliary care provider serving the Southampton area. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality care services to individuals in their own homes, enabling them to live independently and comfortably. Our service is fully staffed, and we currently provide approximately 1000 hours of care per week. We are proud to hold a good CQC rating, reflecting our commitment to excellence in care provision.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to join our team and continue to drive the high standards of care we provide. As the Registered Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the leadership and management of our domiciliary care service in Southampton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the delivery of person-centered care services in accordance with CQC regulations and best practices.
- Oversee and lead a dedicated team of care professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Manage the day-to-day operations, including scheduling, assessments, and care plans.
- Monitor and improve service quality, constantly striving for excellence.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and documentation.
- Manage budgets, resources, and ensure efficient service delivery.
- Implement and maintain policies and procedures to uphold the highest standards of care.
Qualifications and Experience:
- a valid NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care, or willing to work towards.
- Proven experience in a managerial role within a domiciliary care setting.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Dedication to promoting a culture of person-centred care.
- Financial management and budgeting skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- A commitment to maintaining and improving the CQC rating towards an Outstanding rating.
