Job Title: Home Care Assistant

Location: Falmouth, St. Austell, Truro, Redruth
Hourly Rate: £14.75 per hour
Mileage: £0.25 per mile
Accommodation: Free accommodation available if required

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers.
• Help clients with meal preparation and feeding.
• Administer medication in line with care plans.
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided.
• Assist clients with light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Encourage clients to engage in activities and hobbies.
• Report any changes in client conditions to the team or healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a care role is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
• A caring, empathetic, and patient attitude.
• Full, valid UK driving license (preferred, as mileage is provided).
• Enhanced DBS check will be required (we can assist with this process).
