Location: Head Office in Stockport, with national travel
Salary: £24,706 – £26,566 per annum, based on experience
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

A well-established not-for-profit organisation is seeking a diligent Internal Auditor to join their Stockport-based team. As an Internal Auditor, you’ll be responsible for conducting audits across various services, ensuring adherence to financial policies and safeguarding procedures. This role involves both on-site and remote audits, supporting financial compliance, and improving systems for client finance security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular audits at services nationwide, reviewing and ensuring secure management of finances.
• Create detailed reports and action plans to address and improve risk management.
• Deliver training sessions on financial safeguarding and prevention of financial abuse.
• Support Head Office with monthly audits and financial investigations.

Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in audit, compliance, or finance.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel and occasionally work flexible hours.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to produce detailed written reports.
