Live in Carer

About the Service User:

• Elderly man with dementia and Parkinson’s

• Mobile and independent with some personal care needs

• Requires understanding, patience, and a calm approach

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support including meal preparation and companionship

• Assist with personal care (light assistance only; no full personal care required)

• Support with community outings and social engagement

• No cleaning or laundry duties (cleaner is provided)

Working Hours & Pay:

• 8:00am to 10:00pm – active care hours

• 10:00pm to 8:00am – sleep-in hours

• £324 per day / £2,668 per week

• Mileage paid for any miles accrued during shifts

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience supporting individuals with dementia and Parkinson’s

• Patient, empathetic, and understanding

• Ability to promote independence while providing appropriate support
