This company is seeking dedicated Support Workers to join their team at their Learning Disability Service in Accrington.

About the Role: As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing person-centred care, helping individuals with learning disabilities to lead fulfilling lives. You will be responsible for building trusting relationships with service users, promoting their independence, and supporting them in all aspects of daily living. This includes assisting with personal care, managing finances, encouraging social activities, and ensuring their emotional and physical well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain supportive relationships with service users.
  • Assist individuals in daily activities, including personal care, hygiene, and managing household tasks.
  • Support service users in accessing community resources and participating in social, leisure, and educational activities.
  • Promote independence and personal development through tailored support plans.
  • Ensure service users’ safety and well-being, following health and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with families and professionals to provide coordinated care.

Requirements:
