Family support worker

As a family support worker you will play a vital role in supporting Mothers and Babies within the family home with a holistic approach to help build positive relationships and facilitate both healthy communication and interaction skills. You will work closely with a multi disciplinary team to support the family in areas such as emotional wellbeing and helping promote independence as well as helping support with day to day care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with day to day care
• Produce detailed case reports
• Capable of working well on your own
• A positive attitude
• Helping provide support and supervising mothers and babies
• Participating in activities

Experience, training, and qualifications:

• Substantial experience of working and engaging with young children and babies
• Capable of dealing with challenging behaviour
• Capable of working well on your own
• A positive attitude

• Have an Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willing to process an Enhances DBS through Prospero.
• Be able to provide 5 years references
