Registered Children’s Home Manager – Aberdare
Prospero Health and Social Care Recruitment are seeking a Children’s Registered Manager to join an award winning Children’s Home located in the beautiful countryside of Aberdare, South Wales.
The home surrounded by fields and farm land is a in a tranquil setting ideal for the calmness needed for vulnerable children. The client provides therapeutic care to boys and girls who have severe complex needs and emotional issues experienced via traumatic lives previous to care.
Our client is now seeking an experienced and open minded Registered Manager to help work towards their specific goals of providing an outstanding care setting to all children within their care.
We are seeking managers who are willing to go above and beyond for all children in care. We want caring individuals who want to make an impact in a child’s life and teaching them important life skills for when they leave care.
Salary and Benefits
- £34,000 – £39,000k per annum.

Requirements
- Experience working either as a Registered Manager or as a Children’s Home Deputy Manager in a Children’s Home.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent qualification).
- Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare QCF or NVQ – CYP(Or Equivalent Qualification / Dipsw in Childcare).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- *All staff subject to satisfactory references and a fully enhanced dbs
- *All staff must be registered with SCW or be willing to do so if qualification from outside wales.
