Your core responsibilities will include:
- Leading day-to-day operations and ensuring full compliance with CQC standards
- Overseeing and supporting a high-performing team across care and office functions
- Managing recruitment, supervision, and development of staff
- Developing personalised care plans through detailed assessments
- Driving quality improvement through audits, reviews, and governance systems
- Ensuring all care delivery is safe, consistent, and aligned with best practice
- Building positive relationships with service users, families, and professionals
- Maintaining accurate documentation and managing rotas to ensure continuity of care
- Reporting to senior leadership and contributing to strategic planning
- Managing performance against KPIs and maintaining budget oversight
To be considered, you’ll need:
- NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Domiciliary Care setting
- Strong working knowledge of CQC standards and care regulations
- A proven track record of effective team leadership
- Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence managing performance, risk, and safeguarding
Desirable qualities include:
- Experience managing dispersed staff teams
- Strong administrative and IT skills
- A calm, resilient approach to challenging situations
- A dynamic, flexible attitude and the ability to work independently
