Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home (EBD/LD)

Location: Birmingham (B24)
Salary: £60,000 per annum
Home Size: 3-bedded
Ofsted Rating: Good

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a well-established 3-bedded Children’s Residential Home supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Disabilities (LD).

The home holds a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating and prides itself on providing a safe, nurturing, and consistent environment where young people can achieve positive outcomes and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and inspire the staff team to deliver outstanding care and support.
• Ensure the home remains fully compliant with Ofsted and all relevant regulations.
• Oversee care planning, safeguarding, and staff development.
• Maintain a positive, therapeutic environment focused on stability and progression.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Registered Manager (or Deputy ready to step up).
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding frameworks.
• Passionate about supporting young people with complex needs.
