Salary – £49,000 p.a. plus £3000 bonus

Hours -37 hours per week Monday to Friday

About the role – As the Registered Manager of this 4-bed home, housing boys aged 13-17, you will be responsible for the smooth running and high quality of care delivered. You will have a deputy manager, 3 seniors, 3 RSWs + currently 3 casual staff working alongside you. You will be passionate about developing a staffing team through training and coaching. Further duties will include management and leadership, adhering to industry regulations to maintain and improve Ofsted rating, proactively engage with the young people, budget management and record keeping, working with external agencies and parents and put policies into practice to name a few.

Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience required -.As Registered Manager you will need a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services in the children and young people’s residential management pathway, equivalent (RMA etc.) or be working towards, NVQ 3 – Level 3 Diploma (QCF) qualified in Children and Young People’s workforce (or equivalent), and previous experience of working with young people in a residential setting or relevant setting with evidence of staff/team management on a regular basis.
