Position: Registered Manager – Children’s Services
Location: Southampton
Contract Type: Permanent – 37.5 Hours per week
Prospero Health and Social Care are supporting a provider of residential childcare and support for adults based in Southampton who are looking for a new Registered Manager. The home is 4-bedded home for either sex with SEMH needs between the ages of 7 and 17 with a variety of needs and they are awaiting their first OFSTED inspection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a diverse residential care team, driving excellence in childcare provision aligned with our goals.
- Create a warm and respectful culture within the home, ensuring the well-being of the children and young people in our care.
- Motivate and support your team to work collaboratively with agencies and families for positive outcomes.
- Develop and implement effective workforce strategies, including recruitment, induction, supervision, and professional development.
- Work to improve the OFSTED rating of the home and to in still a culture of continuous improvement to the team.
Requirements:
- Experience in a management role within children’s services either as a Deputy Manager or in a Registered Manager role
- Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People’s Workforce (or an equivalent qualification)
