Annual Salary: £29,850 (Including typical sleep-in enhancements)
Location: Southport and surrounding areas

Are you passionate about making a lasting difference in the lives of children and young people? This company is seeking dedicated and nurturing Residential Support Workers in the Southport area to join a committed team providing holistic care and support within a high-quality residential setting.

Salary & Benefits:

  • £26,250 base salary, with additional sleep-in payments at £50 per night (typically 6 per month)
  • Annual earnings circa £29,850, with further scope for overtime

The Role:

You’ll be part of a close-knit residential team, supporting young people with varied and complex needs. Your work will include:

  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare and emotional well-being of young people
  • Acting as a positive role model, helping to establish structure, boundaries and routines
  • Delivering 1:1 and group interventions, encouraging positive social behaviour and resilience
  • Supporting educational and leisure activities in line with care plans
  • Taking on key worker responsibilities and contributing to the development of young people

About You:

  • Experience working with children or young people is desirable, though full training will be provided
  • A calm, confident and professional manner
  • Flexible approach – including willingness to work sleep-in shifts and weekends on a rota basis
  • A strong team player who thrives in a supportive and structured environment
