Residential support worker – Bradford

Here at Prospero Health and Social Care we are looking to recruit experienced and enthusiastic Residential Support Workers in the Bradford Area

An exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen to support Children, Young Adults, and adults with a diverse range of needs, including learning difficulties, autism, physical disabilities, and complex challenging behaviour in a residential care home setting. You will be required to take care of the individual’s needs, Provide physical and emotional support. Manage the wellbeing and behaviour’s ensuring significant behavioural or physical occurrences are addressed and managed accordingly, Deal with a range of mental health issues and support routines.

What we require:

• At least 6 Months work experience in a care setting in the UK (MUST HAVE)
• 3 years of references without gaps (MUST HAVE)
• The ability to adapt and act accordingly to situations.
• A high level of patience and emotional resilience.
• A non-judgmental attitude regardless of a person’s needs.
• The ability to remain calm under pressure and when dealing with challenging situations.
• Experience of working in a similar setting.
• DBS check on the update service and all required checks as well as clean criminal record.
• An over sea’s police check if required
• Preferable but not essential to be able to drive as locations can be spread out.
• Preferable but not essential to have qualifications in relevant subject to health and social care.
