Senior Residential Support Worker

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £25,620 – £30,220 per year (£11.80 – £12.40 per hour)

A brand new home opening soon is seeking a Senior Residential Support Worker to provide therapeutic care and support for children with learning disabilities and autism in a home in Warrington. The successful candidate will join a friendly, professional, and supportive team with opportunities for career progression and personal development.

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a caring team to provide a safe and loving home for children and young people
• Provide therapeutic care and support for each individual child
• Act as a positive role model to colleagues and children to meet their everyday living needs
• Develop trusting relationships that create recovery, growth and lasting change
• Lead a team of professionals and support the registered manager

Requirements:

• Minimum of 12 months experience in residential childcare
• Ideally, a Level 3 qualification in residential childcare which will be recognised in the hourly pay rate
• Flexible and resilient nature
• Willingness to work shifts and sleep-ins
