Senior Support Worker
Location: Chorley Area
Salary: £26,325 – £27,300 per annum (Based on £13.50 – £14.00 per hour)

This company is seeking a compassionate and proactive individual to join its bespoke Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) service in the Chorley area. This unique supported living service offers a personalised approach, focusing on empowering an individual to lead a fulfilling and valued life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create person-centred rotas and ensure staff are effectively deployed to meet the needs of the individual.
- Maintain accurate records, including health plans, positive behaviour support plans, and risk assessments.
- Provide direct coaching and support to staff to uphold best practice.
- Promote independence, confidence, and personal development through daily activities, social participation, and community engagement.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and review individual support plans.
- Undertake general administrative duties and contribute to regular handovers to maintain consistency of support.
About You:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a support role is essential.
- A warm, respectful, and person-centred approach.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to develop positive relationships.
- Physically and mentally resilient, and comfortable working in a calm, predictable environment.
- Ability to work without direct supervision, using initiative to meet the needs of the service.

Hours of Work:
Full-time (37.5 hours) or part-time, with flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Sleep-in shifts are also part of the rota.
