Residential Short Breaks supports children with disabilities aged 8-18 years old. We provide a nurturing and fun environment in which young people feel safe and free to gain a sense of their own self. Our clients culture is unique – They are more than a team, they really are a family! We are now seeking a Senior Residential Worker to help us maintain the high standards of care and personal development their young people have come to expect. You will lead a team of staff in supporting the children with their day-to-day personal needs, whilst working with their team and the children to assess individual needs to develop tailored care plans. You will help to maintain a safe and fun environment for both staff and children within the home and whilst out and about in the community.
Experience
Experience of leading shifts in a care
role.
Level 3 Diploma in Health, Social care,
Residential Childcare or equivalent is essential.
Experience in social care or residential care.
Experience and training in safeguarding.
