Prospero Health and Social Care are looking for enthusiastic Support Workers to Join our Team. This role would be suitable for someone who has experience working with Children and young Adults, Adults, Challenging Behaviours, mental Health and Special needs

Job Description

An exciting and rewarding opportunity has arisen to for a Support Worker, you will be supporting Children and Young Adults and Adults with a diverse range of needs, including learning difficulties, autism, physical disabilities, and complex challenging behaviour. You will be working in a variety of settings, including the own home settings, health and social care settings and out in the community. You will be required to support the individual’s needs, Provide physical and emotional support. Manage the wellbeing and behaviour’s you will be Assisting with the care plans, risk assessments, reviews, incident & accidents reporting. You will need to Maintain professional relationships with clients, family and external health care professionals at all times.

To be considered or this role you will need:

  • At least 6 Months work experience in a Child or adult care setting care setting in the UK – essential
  • 3 years of references without gaps – essential
  • The ability to adapt and act accordingly to situations.
  • A high level of patience and emotional resilience.
  • A non-judgmental attitude regardless of a person’s needs.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and when dealing with challenging situations.
  • DBS check on the update service and all required checks as well as clean criminal record.
  • An over sea’s police check if required
  • Preferable but not essential to be able to drive as locations can be spread out.
  • Preferable but not essential to have qualifications in relevant subject to health and social care.

Job Type

  • Full Time, Part-time, Temporary Contract
  • Salary: £12.50 to £17 per hour Depending on Experience
  • Sleep shifts, long days, waking nights, 12 hour shifts
