Support worker

We are seeking experienced support workers to join our team in providing support to young people with challenging behaviour. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people with behavioural issues, and be able to provide a safe and nurturing environment for them.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support and guidance to young people with challenging behaviour
• Develop and implement individualised support plans for each young person
• Monitor and document the progress of each young person
• Communicate and collaborate with other members of the support team, as well as parents and caregivers
• Build positive relationships with young people and encourage their participation in activities and programs
• Ensure the safety and well-being of young people at all times

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people with challenging behaviour
• A relevant qualification in social work, youth work, or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations
