Key Responsibilities:

  • Encourage independence and support service users in developing social and life skills.
  • Work closely with clinical teams to implement and adhere to behavioural guidelines.
  • Provide personal care and assist service users with physical needs, including moving and handling.
  • Promote a healthy lifestyle and assist service users in maintaining their homes.
  • Support service users in managing their tenancy agreements and finances.

Benefits:

  • Flexible Working: Full-time (37.5 – 48 hours) and part-time roles available, with shifts including weekends and public holidays.
  • 28 days annual leave per year!
  • Training & Development: All employees complete the Care Certificate and are automatically enrolled in the Level 3 Health and Social Care Diploma.
  • Birthday Holiday Bonus: Enjoy an extra day off around your birthday.
  • Company Sick Pay: Available after 12 months of service, with increasing benefits based on length of service.
  • Pension & Life Assurance: Auto-enrolment into the People’s Pension scheme and a life assurance benefit worth two times your annual salary.
  • Employee Assistance Programme: Access to free, confidential counselling services and advice on a range of matters.
  • Onboarding Bonus: Receive a £300 welcome bonus (valid until 30/06/2023).
  • Refer a Friend: Earn up to £200 in vouchers for successful referrals.
  • Additional Perks: Access to healthcare support schemes, discounted rail tickets, and employee recognition awards.

Requirements:

  • A warm, person-centred approach with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly across various shifts and to adapt to changing service needs.

If you are motivated to help people live independently and enjoy meaningful lives, this is the perfect role for you.
