Ideally you will have some previous experience of working with Young Children with, learning disabilities, challenging behaviours, autism, or mental health conditions.

Main duties and responsibilities:
· Providing individuals with practical and emotional care, enabling them to lead as ordinary life as they can achieve.
· Available to work bank holidays & some weekends.
· Participate in the day-to-day implementation of individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment.
· Maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families and others whilst respecting appropriate confidentiality.
· Support service users with the preparation of Meals, Laundry duties, cleaning and washing.

Criteria for our support workers are:
· Adult and Childrens DBS – on the update service (desirable)
· At least 12 months UK Experience working with children and young people
· UK references covering the last 3 years minimum
· NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or equivalent (desirable but not essential)
· Driver (desirable but not essential ) – due to certain package of care.
