Support Worker (Looked After Children)

Rate: £14 – £17 per hour

We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and skilled Support Workers to join our team and provide essential support to looked after children. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and help them overcome their challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support for children in care, ensuring their safety, emotional well-being, and personal development.
• Promote positive behaviours, healthy relationships, and stability.
• Work closely with other professionals to implement care plans and support the child’s needs.
• Foster an environment of respect, trust, and security.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 year’s experience working in the health and social care sector in the UK.
• Language: Excellent English-speaking skills, both written and verbal.
• Driving: Essential – Must hold a UK manual driving licence.
• Qualities: Willingness, flexibility, patience, and a compassionate approach to supporting children.
• Teamwork: Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
