Support Worker

Location: Caverswall Road, Blythe Bridge, Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: Up to £22,620 per annum (equivalent to £11.60 per hour)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build warm, trusting relationships with service users.
  • Support individuals in maintaining their homes, managing their finances, and making positive choices.
  • Promote self-esteem, happiness, and emotional well-being.
  • Assist in developing daily living skills and accessing social, leisure, and work activities.
  • Implement person-centred plans to meet the unique needs of each individual.
  • Provide emotional and practical support to individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours.

Requirements:

  • A caring, person-centred approach with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in providing support to people with learning disabilities is desirable.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • A clean driving licence is desirable.
