Surveyor – Property Services Team

Salary: Up to £47,000 per annum
Location: Stockport (with national travel)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Are you an experienced Surveyor with a strong knowledge of building construction and maintenance? This organisation is looking for a skilled property professional to join their Property Services Team, playing a key role in managing and maintaining their extensive portfolio of residential and commercial properties.

The Role:

  • Conduct property surveys and inspections, identifying maintenance and repair needs.
  • Prepare specifications for works, including reactive maintenance and refurbishment projects.
  • Work with contractors and consultants, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Oversee tendering processes, ensuring value for money and high standards of work.
  • Line manage and support the Property Services Project Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations, fire safety, energy efficiency, and health and safety requirements.
  • Travel extensively across the country, visiting sites as required.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified Surveyor (accredited professional or vocational qualification).
  • Proven experience in building surveys, property inspections, and project management.
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations, fire safety, energy efficiency, and property maintenance.
  • Experience managing contractors, consultants, and maintenance programmes.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.
