Team Leader – Learning Disabilities Service

Salary: £25,695 to £26,169 per annum (based on £13.15 – £13.40 per hour, 37.5 hours per week)
Are you an experienced professional in care services, passionate about empowering individuals with learning disabilities to lead fulfilling lives? This role offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team in delivering high-quality, person-centred supported living services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring personalised care for service users.
- Support service users in achieving independence and engaging in community activities.
- Lead and develop staff through supervision, coaching, and training.
- Promote best practices in positive behavioural support and safeguarding.
- Ensure compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards and other statutory requirements.
About You:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with individuals with learning disabilities.
- Proven track record of supervising and managing teams.
- Strong knowledge of care planning, risk assessment, and person-centred approaches.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to promoting equality and diversity.
- Relevant qualifications (Level 2 or 3 Health & Social Care Diploma or willingness to achieve).
