An exciting opportunity has arisen for a compassionate and dedicated individual to join this company as a Team Leader within their Birmingham Supported Living services. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day management of two supported living services, providing high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities and autism.

You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional care, leading and managing a team of staff, and fostering a positive, empowering environment for service users to thrive. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage two supported living services, ensuring high-quality care and compliance with CQC regulations.
  • Lead, supervise, and develop a team of staff, ensuring they provide person-centred and empowering support.
  • Ensure service users maintain independence and well-being, supporting them in daily living tasks, community activities, and personal care.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans and risk management strategies.
  • Promote and uphold the rights and dignity of service users at all times.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with families, other professionals, and stakeholders.
  • Participate in the on-call rota and contribute to service development.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
  • £100 bonus upon successful completion of the probationary period.
  • Comprehensive training and development opportunities, including NVQ assessor training.
  • Access to a free Employee Counselling Service and legal/financial advice.
  • Life Assurance and pension scheme.
  • Enhanced maternity, paternity, compassionate, and carers leave.
  • Staff benefits scheme with discounts at various retailers and services.
  • Inclusive workplace with EDI and LGBTQ+ networks.

To succeed in this role, you will have experience in managing or supervising staff within a care setting, particularly supporting individuals with learning disabilities and autism. You will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and a strong commitment to promoting the rights and independence of service users.

If you are passionate about making a difference and have the skills and experience required, this could be the perfect role for you.
